Job description
Our client is a leading Retail MNC with a global presence. As they continue to expand in APAC, they are hiring for a Data Engineering Manager with proven experience in AWS and Azure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build, develop, implement, and maintain the end-to-end data engineering pipelines across the region
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and propose relevant data engineering solutions
Work on data analytical issues to produce useful business insights for the company
Build various data engineering solutions using AWS or Azure cloud services
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of working experience in Cloud Data Engineering
In-depth proficiency in Python and SQL
Extensive experience in using Azure and/or Azure modules for data engineering and business requirements
Experience in Big Query, PowerBI or Tableau
Strong communication skills to liaise closely with business stakedholders
Experience in Retail, Luxury Retail and/or E-Commerce will be highly preferred
