Job description


Our client is a multi-national company seeking a good leader who will report to the Vice President, Strategic Solutions and Product Development – Asia Pacific, whose main job scope focuses on delivering digital solutions. The digital solutions cover omnichannel across ten markets (China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines). He/ She will be managing teams across the region and responsible for pre-sales, solutioning and delivery of digital services.


  • Lead the team in formulation of digital solution by leveraging on the company’s regional and global assets, partnership with 3rd parties
  • Commercialization of Digital Solutions driving revenue objectives for the Asia-Pacific region
  • Engagement with internal stakeholders
  • Compliance, Legal, Finance, Credit, Operations and Marketing alignment with overall corporate objectives
  • Managing Digital Solution lifecycle that covers minimally multi-method of payment (e.g. conventional credit / debit cards, alternative payment methods (APMs) - wallets, local payment methods (LPMs) – real time debit, etc) multi-jurisdictions (territories as mentioned above),  value-added (e.g. Loyalty/Rewards, instalment, currency conversion, multi-currency payment, etc)
  • Act as subject matter expertise to participate in regional and global RFP, co-innovate with industry partners and expert review of industry standard and compliance mandates
  • Regional travel


  • Between 10-15 years in similar capacity
  • Strong business acumen, leadership skills and ability to influence for results
  • Managed teams across jurisdictions
  • Has worked in highly-matrix MNC organizations
  • Has delivered solutions covering technologies spanning the two decades not limited to RESTful API (Apigee), XML, ISO8583, object-oriented programming language (e.g. C++, Java, etc), scripting (e.g. Ruby, Python, JSON, etc) and UML
  • Must have experience in SDLC with both Waterfall and Agile development processes
  • Has worked in organizations with direct schemes and wallets engagement
    • e.g. Visa, MasterCard, JCB, CUP, Alipay, Tenpay, LinePay, GrabPay, etc
    • In-country: PayNow, FPS, Dutinow, UPI, Boost, Touch-n-Go, Payme, etc
  • Has delivered at least three major commercialized products/solutions covering multi-method of payments and Value-added, omni-channels and cloud-based infrastructure will be a bonus
  • Has managed development resource in both outsourced and insourced environments
  • Experienced in using JIRA, SFDC, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint for requirements analysis, data analysis, presentation, and documentation;
  • Strong interpersonal communications, presentation skills and excellent at rallying the team
  • Out-of-the-box transformational thinker, customer experience focused
  • Effective communicator with the ability to convey message clearly and concisely


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT or computing. Master’s Degree is a plus
  • Being a certified PMP and/or Scrum Master is a plus
  • You should preferably come with Payments industry background with an emphasis on Core Payments
  • Any certifications in programming languages mentioned is good to have
  • Must be fluent in English and Mandarin. Cantonese speaking is a plus
  • Singaporeans or Permanent Residents are preferred
