Production Management Leader (Malaysia)

They are market leaders in the innovative development with high quality manufacturing standards for a variety of healthcare and related respiratory solutions globally. The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain distribution capabilities, and takes pride in ensuring optimized regional activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Production Management Leader (Malaysia), who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth designing and implementation of greenfield manufacturing processes for Malaysia, coupled with effective onsite Supply Chain work flow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Regional Operations Leader based in Singapore, and this position will be focusing on the below:

• Subject matter expert to spearhead the strategic manufacturing re-engineering initiatives, to make happen successful optimization of utilization of equipment, systems, and resources to meet changing production demands.

• Deep dive into critical production pain points and actively look into continuous process improvements to drive Operations Excellence for Malaysia manufacturing activities and beyond.

• Actively collaborate with Asia/ Global cross-functional Leaders in Product Management, Engineering, Quality and Procurement to ensure optimal demand forecast and supply balance management, including that of managing inventory and safety stock levels within Asia by means of introducing effective replenishment planning processes etc.

• Strategize and develop improved processes by means of conducting strategic Root Cause Analysis by means of introducing Lean Six Sigma methodologies etc. to reduce incidents of Production Wastage etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate Profile

Malaysia • Permanent

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Manufacturing or related International Supply Chain/ Business Management experiences in a complex and high volume Medical Device environment.

• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework.

• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Manufacturing Excellence.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to regional/ global stakeholders involved.

• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
