Risk Project VP (International Bank)

Job description

​Charterhouse is supporting an international bank to source for a Risk Project VP.

Seated with the business and reporting to the Head of Department, this will be an APAC role where you will identify, evaluate, monitor, report and control/mitigate risks and to properly document risk management strategies, policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acting as a Single Point of Contact, you will work very closely with internal stakeholders in ensuring end to end program management of key US and EU regulatory projects.

You will implement regulatory control framework to address regulatory requirements and Group expectations and ensure key risks and its mitigating actions are reported to Management in a timely and consistent manner.

You will take ownership in analysing impacts of all key global regulatory texts/ guidance and ensure head office procedures are properly adapted/ adopted within local procedures and ensure any gaps are properly addressed or escalated.

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the role, you should have

• Min. Degree

• At least 7 years working experience in the Compliance/Control/ Risk area, prior project management experience will be advantageous

• Ability to manage / facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee, training

• Ability to work with stakeholders from all levels is a must

• Possess strong presentation skills
