SCOM Expert - Video Integration Engineer

Job description

Our esteemed client is one of the leaders in multinational telecommunications, information technology, and consumer electronics company recruiting Wintel Support Engineer - Video Integration to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and suggest/perform corrective or preventative maintenance actions on issues reported by customers. to work closely with business stakeholders including Distribution, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal and IT teams to develop and roll out solutions.

To be successful, individual must possess:

• 8+ years of experience in IT with minimum of 2 years of progressive experience as IPTV or OTT Video Engineer, IP Engineer, CDN Engineer or R&D Support Engineer in related to IP Video area or similar

• Solid experience on Microsoft Server technologies (windows, Server, SQL Server, System Center) and specifically System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2 (SCOM)

• SCOM Expert on 2012 R2

• Technical knowledge of IP and video solutions, architectures, products and protocols:

• Product knowledge and hands on experience in installation or support of MediaKInd (former Microsoft) Mediaroom

• Participate in on-call rotation: 24/7 readiness to pick up call including weekends during on-call week.

• Installation, configuration and operations support of complex IPTV/OTT Video solution.

• Experience in Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, SCCM, SCOM, Windows networking.

• Understanding of High availability technologies: network redundancy, server clustering, RAID.

• Linux administration is an advantage
