Roles & Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable product initiatives.
Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business impact and stakeholder needs.
Drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Engage with key stakeholders, including supply chain operations, IT, and executive leadership, to gather insights, feedback, thus identifying strategic opportunities in alignment with our business objectives.
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance collaboration and drive successful product outcomes.
Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and data analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Provide guidance on technical aspects, ensuring alignment with supply chain requirements and IT best practices.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Lead the implementation of digital products, including Supply Chain Management Software TMS, WMS and other relevant technologies
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.
Including the ability to prioritise key product features in the roadmap, based on business impact and value, especially with the “minimum viable product” iterative development mindset.
Education and Training
Adoption of successful product implementation with internal training and education,
deployment planning, sustain and support on ongoing basis.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with product development and implement mitigation strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Supply Chain Management, IT or a related field.
Prior knowledge and minimum 8 years of proven experience in product management with a focus on supply chain and IT solutions.
Candidates from solutions providers, e-commerce and/or consulting environments can be considered.
Possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain processes, technology trends and industry best practices.
Experience in product management with the ability to integrate technical solutions into an
operational environment to ensure a sustainable solution.
Demonstrated leadership in driving successful product outcomes, from concept to implementation.
Cross-disciplinary understanding of business functions (such as logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, accounting/ finance)
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical mindset and skills, with the ability to convert analysis into business insights for decision making.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders from different hierarchy levels with the ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Logical thinker and problem solver with analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as DevOps, blockchain, IoT, and AI in the context of supply chain management.
Technical abilities – Good understanding on Analytical tools (SQL, Python), Product management tools (Jira, Confluence and Atlas), Design and ideation (Canvas, Figma) and DevOps tools like Bitbucket/ GitHub
