Sustainability Lead – Real Estate

Job description

Our client is an establish Firm, in the Real Estate industry, with strong presence in the region. Due to expansion needs, they are looking for an Environmental sustainability lead to join their team here in Singapore. This is a newly created headcount.

Reporting to the ESG committee, the incumbent is expected to be a subject matter expert in ESG to help shape and drive sustainability for the organization. This role requires the incumbent to ensure activities on utilities and waste are managed and directed to meet company’s policies and targets. Develop and implement polices to reduce harmful environmental impacts. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing sustainability data for annual external reporting. Stakeholder management is also key as there is heavy interactions with internal project teams and appointed contractors to ensure sustainable construction specifications.

To be successful, individual must possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Sustainability or Engineering related discipline

• Minimum 5-8 years of management experience in sustainability

• Strong knowledge in areas of environmental management system, waste management

• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment

• Strong stakeholder management skills
