Application Integration Architect Lead

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development, configuration and optimization of .NET applications

• Designing new application and technical architecture components for various applications of medium-to-high complexity

• Assisting the introduction of new technology solutions that are medium-to-complex in nature from design through to overseeing rollout

• Providing full estimations of delivery effort across all areas of design, build, test and rollout activities

• Creating solution blueprints through to component technical specifications

• Engaging with product owners and business users as well other technologists in analyzing functional and non-functional requirements to help support application design decisions

• Providing development support to various application development teams including setting technical direction in conjunction with application development team leads

• Providing coaching and mentoring to junior resources including guidance on best practice and enforcing standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• 5+ years’ experience working as a .NET Developer delivering in a full stack Microsoft environment

• Experience in the development, rollout and support of changes for new and existing application stacks (e.g. web applications, windows applications, windows services, batch packages)

• A proven track record of the design of various application changes of medium-to-high complexity

• Strong practical understanding of web, API and cloud development concepts, design patterns and industry best practices

• Experience in database design, development and optimization (e.g. MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Informix, MongoDB, Redis)

• Solid understanding of multiple SDLC principles and their application to different systems and projects (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum methodology)

• Strong knowledge in Windows and Linux operating systems and container virtualization (e.g. Docker)

• Knowledge in design and implementation of application or enterprise service bus (ESB), one or many of to the following Oracle Service Bus, Tibco, Biztalk, Mule, Weblogic, Websphere, Jboss, WSO2, NodeJS

• Experience in design and implementation of integration platform as for example Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, BizTalk, Spring Integration, Apache Camel

• Experience in working with continuous Integration Tools as Jenkins, GIT, Maven or Ant, CVS or SVN, TFS

• Knowledge in data center design, implementation and run of Operational Teams (e.g. NOC, SOC)
