AVP / VP, Business Manager, Global Asset Management

We are exclusively representing an Investment Management Firm for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a highly visible role that sits within the Chief Operating Officer’s division in Singapore and will be responsible for driving execution and implementing various strategic initiatives across the group.
Reporting to the COO and Head of Operations, you will have exposure to various aspects of the asset management business and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
You will prioritize requests on new initiatives and capabilities across Asia and coordinate various engagements with key outsourced BPOs including management oversight and change control framework. You will also prepare an executive-level presentation and analysis.
You will take charge of representing the COO division to work with business units on process transformation projects and provide business analytics and improvement solutions to enhance the front-to-back experience and delivery.
You will also manage a range of projects to successful completion, identify, resolve and escalate all project issues to management and key stakeholders, and support the group's strategic goal to transit from a multi-location operating model to strategic operating models.

REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify, individuals must possess:

At least 6-8 years of experience in a similar capacity
Strong experience working in Asset Management
Ability to design processes and controls and have prior experience in designing target operating models
Advanced skills in Front, Middle, and Back Office systems
Excellent stakeholder management
