Job description
Rare opportunity to join an International Bank as a Deputy Head of Data Management focusing on advanced ETL and enhancement of Data Engineering infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fast and thorough ingestion of real time and batch data and converting them into useful insights for business stakeholders
Understand the data ingestion process, before enhancing and scaling the amount of big data that be processed at any time
Introduce best practices for data modelling and improving the ETL processes using relevant big data tools
Understand requirements from Data Scientists to develop better data infrastructure for advanced analytics
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of work experience enhancing Data Engineering and/or Data Management systems
Highly proficient in developing advanced SQL queries specifically for huge volume of real-time and batch data which will be tested during interview
At least 3 years of proven work experience in Data Modelling, ETL, Data Warehousing and Visualization tools such as Tableau and QlikView
High initiative, agile professional who requires little or no supervision
Team management experience highly recommended
Banking industry experience preferred but not required
