Job description
My client is a foreign bank with a growing presence in APAC. They are looking to hire an experienced Surveillance Compliance Officer to join their team in Singapore.
This is an opportunity for existing Trade/Market Surveillance Officers to expand their knowledge in financial products while utilizing voice and e-communication surveillance software.
Supporting the Markets Surveillance Team, you will be the 2nd line compliance advisory for any SMART/NICE trading alerts to detect any market misconduct. You will analyse a variety of product trades and conduct investigations utilizing e-communication and voice communication software.
You may also be required to provide training to the off-shore surveillance team.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- University degree
- 3+ years of experience in trade surveillance
- Must have excellent attention to detail and an investigative mind set
- Trade surveillance product expertise in at least 1 of the following: Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate, Swaps, Structured Products, etc.
