Job description
Exciting opportunity to join a financial institution as a Security Engineering lead in Singapore.
This role is based in Singapore, kindly note that only candidates currently working in Singapore will be considered.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security engineering controls aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry frameworks (e.g. NIST, CRI).
Drive regional security engineering initiatives, including vendor management, stakeholder engagement, delivery oversight, and remediation of identified security risks.
Establish and govern security engineering standards, processes, and documentation, ensuring consistent, high-quality security outcomes across the organisation.
Oversee security incident investigations, vulnerability remediation, and audit engagements, clearly communicating risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles.
Strong hands-on expertise across multiple security engineering domains, such as IAM, Zero Trust, cryptographic key management, data protection, and cloud security.
Proven experience implementing and operating enterprise security tools (e.g. FireMon, Illumio, Pentera, CyberArk or equivalents) and aligning controls to recognised frameworks.
