Senior Front-End Specialist

• Build front-end components for trading system with a framework and generic pattern mindset for scale across multiple dimensions – optimized compute/performance, functional, visualization, quality control
• Think API ie build your front-end with generic primitives exposed to back-end developers through a clear API
• Develop and maintain automated testing
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• In-depth Javascript/html5/css experience with proven outstanding results for ticking data/Realtime visualization leveraging modern open source js libraries
• Expert on html5 desktop apps or web-based with electronsj/chromium or openfin/finsemble a strong plus. Ability to build the visualization of any required data or UI functions end-to-end from the visuals to the back-end for front-end
• Strong experience in recent windows/.net or Linux based Web server technologies
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum-Kanban and related tools – JIRA, Confluence
• Technical knowledge in a no-SQL / doc / columnar DB such as mongoDB, kdb, shell scripts in Linux/Unix environment and or windows-based environments
• Understanding of modern architecture/designs – micro-services/API-first development/agent-based system, compositional frameworks
• Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver solutions – deep understanding of the problem and context along with ownership

Other desirable (lateral/broad tech) skills

• Python or more general-purpose programming languages, C# or Java
• Knowledge and some practical experience in modern dev-ops - CI/CD, containerization, orchestration
• Knowledge of trading system / bonds/credit electronic markets is a big plus
