Job description
My client, a regional bank, is looking to hire a Team Lead for the Infrastructure and Platform Services for their Technology Operations in Singapore.
The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for Operating systems, Databases, and Middleware technical changes in the production IT environment. You make decisions on the banks' environment, the upstream and downstream impact, and minimize the risk of system outage due to change implementation to ensure the stability of the IT systems. You will establish control processes and procedures for Infrastructure technical changes. You will operationalize the change control and implementation process using automation tools.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
• Bachelor Degree
• More than 10 years of experience in large and complex organizations preferably in Banking or Financial institutions.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong technical competencies in managing Unix operating system, Windows operating system, Databases, Middleware such as JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere, messaging queue etc
• Well-versed with ITIL processes for IT Service Management (ITSM) to manage incidents and problem tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, high sense of urgency
• Ability to drive, engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
