AVP / VP, Business Analyst (Group Finance)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather and document user requirements
Assess functional impact of changes to Finance applications
Assess the user configuration setup required for application changes
Review functional design and ensure that business requirements are met
Responsible for end-to-end User Acceptance Testing activities such as:
- Define test approach, prepare test scripts and execute User Acceptance Test, analyses test results and ensure that reported issues are resolved
Transition project to production support teams with proper documentation and training
Provide support in resolving post implementation issues during warranty period

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business or its equivalent professional certificates
At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a project setting within Financial Services Industry
Proven business analysis skills; experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, developing test strategy and test scripts for User Acceptance Test
Strong data querying skills
Analytical and has aptitude for system related work
Prior work experience as a business analyst with experiences gained in any of the following areas is a plus:
- Front-to-back projects for Trade Finance or Treasury Products
- Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting or Performance Management reporting
Experience and confidence in dealing with various levels of management
Self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness
Possess strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
