Security Administrator, IT Security Operations

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day administration of security systems which include but not limited to:

  • Identity & access management (i.e. identity management system, privileged account management, single sign-on, advanced authentication)

  • Network security (i.e. firewall, intrusion prevention system, unified threat management, virtual private network, distributed denial of service)

  • Web security (i.e. URL filtering, web anti-malware, web content filtering, web application firewall)

  • End point security (i.e. anti-malware, server security, access & information protection (file/disk or folder encryption, device control, application control, data loss prevention or network access control), proactive end point risk management (setting, monitoring and updating of system configuration setting including installation of security patches))

  • Messaging security (i.e. anti-malware, anti-spam, content filtering)

  • Security & vulnerability management (forensics and incident management, security information and event management, security device systems management, device and application vulnerability management)

  • Others (i.e. database security, advanced persistent threat, mobile security, cloud security)

• Manages projects to upgrade or replace the existing security systems (including migration to public cloud).

• Participates in IT projects as a project member to support integration with existing security systems and/or ensure proper on boarding of new security systems implemented.

• Support automation initiatives and re-engineering of existing processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with 5 years or more of IT experience

• Highly motivated individual that can drive and support initiatives

• Strong analytical individual who is capable of trouble-shooting or performing root cause analysis

• Process-oriented individual that can re-engineer existing processes
