Head of IT – Retail (Cloud/SAP/Infrastructure)

Job description

This is an exciting new role at one of the most well established MNCs within the retail industry. They are looking to bring onboard an Head of IT to oversee IT Operations across the region. You will be tasked with an IT transformation encompassing Cloud, SAP, Applications and Infrastructure - changing the workflow and leading a team of up to 20 people that will continue to grow.

As a Head of IT, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the IT Operations across Asia

• Driving the transformation across cloud and SAP while ensuring infrastructure and applications are up and running

• Providing strategic plans and views for the business from an IT perspective

• Managing IT and teams across the SEA region, working closely with senior stakeholders to build up the structure

• Ensuring the IT Infrastructure estate is optimised and maintained at supportable technical levels

• Delivering projects to improve the service levels and responsiveness of the IT operations services

As a successful applicant, you should have at least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role looking after IT Operations from end to end. You should also have a track record of success doing so in the retail industry. This role would require a 30-40% of travel as well – someone who has covered regional projects would be desirable.
