Job description
Charterhouse is supporting a Derivatives Exchange who are expanding their Regulatory and Compliance Department.
Our client is looking for a legally trained professional to work in a blended Legal & Compliance position within the firm – this is a new headcount due to growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Chief Regulatory Officer, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of contractual, corporate and other legal documentation, whilst also representing the business in legal negotiations. Furthermore, you will support the group across regulatory compliance and implement necessary compliance training programmes for the organisation. The job holder will also be involved in any ad-hoc related legal and compliance work.
REQUIREMENTS:
You should have a Degree in Law and possess least 1 year of working experience either within private practice or in-house legal/compliance. Prior experience within the financial institution will be advantageous, and Mandarin capabilities are required.
