WorkBench is the single platform for all client-facing staff to manage their client relationships and perform activities on behalf of their clients. It is designed to provide superior client management by aggregating everything we know about our clients, automates key business processes and provides a platform for collaboration across all businesses in the Wholesale Bank.


The Client360 area of the WorkBench displays all client data, including revenue, pipeline, call reports and other transactional data across the Wholesale Bank. In addition to this unified view of information, the Activities area integrates a number of disparate systems in order to streamline key business processes. You can now initiate requests on behalf of your clients in an automated, electronic way with full end-to-end monitoring and tracking reducing the need for you to follow-up on requests in turn providing you more time to spend with clients. WorkBench application covers various stages of client lifecycle:


  • Client OnBoarding and Initiation

  • Sales (CRM)

  • Deals (CRM)

  • Interfacing to Credit processes for OnBoarding

  • Reporting & Analytics at Client and RM Portfolio level

  • Client Master Maintenance

  • Client Offboarding 


    The CRM Technical Specialist will assist in delivering this programme by :

  • Work closely with direct business, business analysts and project managers

  • To work on Proof of Concept for new initiatives

  • Lead innovations for business benefits and once proven handover to India

  • Engage business stakeholders for initial design and architecture in agile fashion with functional knowledge and hands on technical skills under guidance from business and BAs in Singapore

  • Identifying/Gathering/ Questioning and challenging when necessary/ documenting thespecifications front to back

  • Identifying golden sources of data in Standard Chartered Bank

  • Provide inputs on existing processes and collaborate with DevOps team towards automation and delivery efficiency

  • Specifying the use cases

  • Coordinating the test activities with the front to back upstreams and downstreams

  • Assisting the project roll-out

  • Leading directly or indirectly the delivery from offshore

  • Complying with Standard Chartered Bank project framework and business analysis methodology.

  • Team performance and Delivery of individual tasks and overall projects on time and of a high quality

  • Ensuring successful go lives with minimal post go live issues


Must Have:

  • Having 10+ of years of experience, progressed thru various roles like analyst programmer, technical specialist, solution designer.

  • Process adherence

  • Strong analytical and problem solving

  • Understanding of DevOps tools (SCM, Build & Deploy categories)

  • Experience in Design Patterns

  • Responsibility for the Code Quality measures

  • Java / J2EE - strong knowledge of server side programming. Good understanding of basic concepts of collections, multithreading & OOPS concept

  • Hands-on experience in developing UI based applications, UI testing frameworks

  • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture implementations

  • Database - strong RDBMS skills around writing efficient SQL’s and procedures. Good understanding of database concepts like index’s and query plan

  • Rules Engine - Must have skill having hands on in any of the Rules evaluation
