Compliance Specialist (Multinational Asset Management Firm)

Charterhouse Partnership is supporting a globally renowned Asset Management firm, who is hiring within their APAC Compliance team. 
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of compliance, inclusive of regulatory compliance, business advisory and AML.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the incumbent will be working in a rounded compliance position – which will include exposure to Regulatory Compliance, AML, Cross Border activities, Compliance Monitoring, Business Advisory and further related tasks. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with its financial regulators, advising colleagues on often complex regulatory requirements, and helping the group to manage its regulatory and reputational risks.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be qualified for this position, you will be a degree holder from a top tier university and have at least 5 years of rounded compliance experience, which can be obtained from any financial institution; those with broad compliance backgrounds will be preferred to niche specialists, and although not compulsory, knowledge/prior exposure to Asset Management will be advantageous. You should have a good understanding of global and local regulations impacting financial services firms and be a career motivated individual with excellent levels of communication skills.
